Amazing read! I’m so curious about two things. First, to know if anyone else has run 30 miles on the water and if you are able to get an idea from the captain about how many miles the boat traveled while you ran?

As far as I am aware, I am the only person in SAS history to have ever run a marathon or more on a SAS ship. The organization has been around since 1963 but the board members that I spoke to said they are not aware of any others that have done that distance. On the second question, I wish I would have asked the captain about the distance the ship moved. It didn't cross my mind at the time.

Thank you Sandrine! Happy New Year! As for running in France, I haven't exactly set a date in stone, but in would probably be either late May or in July.
